iGot A Hot Room Review & Seddie Analysis (:

Okie dokie, so everyone who’s seen this AWESOME first episode of 4^th season knows how utterly funny it was, btw if you haven’t watched it yet i suggest ya don’t read this till ya have (: Okay so just a brief summary of the plot; basically it’s about Carly’s bedroom & all her stuff being burnt to ashes because of a gummy bear lamp Spencer made her for her birthday, as an attempt to make up for last year’s “goat incident” :P Carly then gets a job at the Groovy Smoothie with T-Bo has her boss, forcing her to work 12 hours without earning enough money to even buy a pot of paint, because Spencer had told her that the insurance company wouldn’t give them more than $500. In reality, however, Spencer actually received $82000 because of a diamond encrusted bezel watch that had belonged to their great grandmother. With this money Spencer, Sam, Freddie, Gibby & a lot of hired builders set about creating Carly the greatest bedroom a teenage girl could hope for! (:

This episode was very creative and had quite a few funny moments, along with an AWESOME SEDDIE moment!!!!! :D

Anyway let's begin (:

“Hey, I’m 3 and a half ounces of Carly!”

“And I’m a heaping tablespoon of Sam!”

“Put us in a tall glass!”

“Shake vigorously!” Nice hair Sam! XD

“Add a pinch of Freddie!” Notice how Sam was the one who pinched him ;)

“And you’ve got a delicious web show called, iCarly!!” Perfect definition for iCarly is it not?

It really is the perfect definition for iCarly, a great fun way of opening the show, as always! (:

So anyway next Sam tells the iCarly viewers that it’ll soon be Carly’s birthday and then Carly and Sam begin to read out a list of what Carly “doesn’t” want her viewers to get her ;)

Jewelry 

Purses

Fine Shoes

Makeup

Lip gloss

The new PearPad

Sports Cars

Lunch meats

Mexican beverages

A Unicorn (who doesn’t want one?)

Internal Organs 

 External Organs (....cause y’know every teenage girl

would like people to send her that kinda stuff O.o)

And a VHS copy of the 1980’s film “Over The Top” Starring Sylvester Stallone!

It’s not too much to ask for lol :P i liked this scene because it was just a perfect demonstration of how a teenage gets around her birthday :P however that internal and external organs bit was kinda...worrying? O.o XD 

And now PIEEE!! I actually LOVE pie! 

Not just any pie, BIRTHDAY PIE! :D

WOW! look.at.that! it's HUGE O_O

And it contains Carly’s, and my, 2 favorite flavors! 

Which are......

Cherry and.....GIBBBYYY!!

Yaay yum yum ;P jks

But seriously Gibby is awesome!

Don’t you wish you could have that pie! (: although when first watching this episode i became very hungry after this scene XD also this next one had me laughing so hard when I first saw it.....

"I couldn’t breathe in there!!!"

“I told you to breathe through the tube!”

"I couldn't find the tube!"

"Oh, I forgot the tube..."

Hahaa lol XD made me chuckle :P

I also want to talk about the changes to the opening credits!! (:

The changes are mainly the fact that they’re using scenes from newer episodes but...  

CONGRATULATIONS TO NOAH!!!! Gibby has been added to the main cast! Yay, Noah totally deserves it, he plays Gibby so well! (:

Alsooo...

I wonder why Dan suddenly decided to add this scene into the opening credits?...hmm...i know it’s Melanie and NOT Sam BUT it’s a well known fact that we seddiers usually use this for seddie vids and things.....maybe im reading too much into it but could this be a sign?? Or maybe it’s sign that Melanie’s returning? Or maybe it’s just because Dan thinks it looks good, who knows?? ..i wish i did -__-

After this Carly comes down stairs in hope of a warm happy birthday from her brother (: 

Instead she gets this guy yawning like some kind of dying elephant -___-

Anyway he was just acting so that Carly’s awesome surprise birthday breakfast would be...well...a surprise XD

Oh and we also learn that Spencer drinks milk in the shower....disturbing O.o eww, nice tough Dan ;) XD

Anyway Sam, Freddie, Gibby & T-Bo then rush in and get the table decorated and stuff (:  

whataa bunch of posers :P

SURPRISE!!

So anyway Carly is surprised and then begins to tuck into her delicious breakie, complete with a bouquet of waffles on a stick thanks to T-Bo (: when Spencer and Carly bring up the goat...what did the goat do?! Hmmm..i wonder...

We also hear Carly’s and everyone else’s wishes for Spencer to get his hair cut. Now to be honest i LOVE long hair on guys...normally. But honestly his hair was getting a tad TOO long, i like it both long and short so im not to bothered, whats your opinion? I’ve already said mine, and in the words of the great Samantha Puckett 

"It makes you look like a girl!"

It really did... :P

Gibby then suggests that Spencer let his Grandfather give him a hair cut because he’s good and will do it for free.

After some pouty-faced convincing & pleading from Carly, Spencer reluctantly agree’s to let Gibbys Grandfather cut his hair (:

We then cut to Carly, Sam, Freddie and Gibby’s school, where we see Carly getting many birthday wishes from her friends (:

"Hey Carly, Happy Birthday!"

“Hey hey, there’s the iCarly Birthday Girl!”

“Happy Bday CShay!”

Awww how nice (:

*silence*

O_O SCARY :S

 ..okay that's not so nice :S

But it is AWESOME that Sam can speak Italian :O it was a huge shock for me when i heard that, wasn’t expecting it but i loved it, good idea Dan (:

And we also learn that Sam’s mum likes Italian dudes, no she REALLY likes Italian dudes ;) LOL

Next we meet Gibby’s hairdresser Grandfather (: hello! 

We soon discover however that Gibby’s grandfather is practically blind, typical bad luck for Spencer -__- XD

PAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!! XD

Anybody else find it absolutely HILARIOUS that Spencer just through a grapefruit at an old man!! XD

This is also the first time we see the gumy bear lamp Spencer is planning on giving to Carly as a present (:

I LOVE the way Gibby says “I love this”

 Also this is one of my fav parts of the ep...

“Oh you’ve got a nice head of hair young lady”

  Hahahahaha XD

And now the threesome arrive back at the Shay’s apartment

And now we reveal Spencer’s new hair.....!!

Next Spencer forces Carly to go and get a jacket...a different Jacket! :P So that she’ll go upstairs into her room and see the Gummy Bear lamp (:

Unfortunately things don’t go as planned...

*scream* my room’s on fire!!!

“Let me go first!!” *all rush upstairs*

*all rush downstairs screaming, followed by smoke*

“Let me go first!!” *Spencer rushes outside, closing door behind him*

*all frantically rush outside after Spencer*

Hahaha LOL who else thought that was hilarious, the way he just slammed the door shut behind him XD

So anyway once the gang return, after the firemen have put out the fire, this is what they return to... 

Ohhh poor Carly ):

“Well, it could have been worse”

“No it couldn’t” XD

“Spencer Shay” *offers hand to shake*

“Yeah, we know who you are” XD

Aww poor Carly ):

They then discover the cause of the fire, Spencer’s Gummy Bear lamp

Uh-oh!

>_> SPENCER! you idiot -__-

Jks i know it wasn't really his fault :P

Spencer is then talking with an insurance...person? about how much money they’ll get for the damage...

The guy asks Spencer whether or not Carly had lost this watch. Spencer tells him that she did and that it had belonged to their great-grandmother.

The insurance guy then informs Spencer that he could receive $82000 O_O

This was Spencer's reaction...

Carly, Freddie & Sam then arrive. Carly asks Spencer how much money the insurance guy said he would give them, Spencer lies and tells her they can only get $500...

Spencer than “informs” Carly that T-Bo is looking for someone to work at the Groovy Smoothie, she then agrees to go down there and take the job because she believes they need the money.

After Carly first mentions getting a job Sam looks disgusted and shares her opinion on the matter

"Nasty!" XD

Although very depressed about it Carly leaves to ask T-Bo bout a job at the Groovy Smoothie, Spencer then phones T-Bo explaining the situation and reveals to Sam & Freddie the truth about the $82000 (:

We also learn, while Spencer is on the phone to T-Bo, that Spencer once got his sister a job to which she ended up in hospital after falling off a ladder :S XD

Sam and Freddie’s reaction to the money is very positive hahaa

Carly than arrives at the Groovy Smoothie and starts working right away, she is forced to do stupid, should be impossible jobs, such as putting a stick through tacos O.o and to call T-Bo “Mr Bo” nah jks im just “pulling your peach!” XDD

Ah, i love T-Bo “what is the queen coming?!” hahahahaa XD

Anyway back at the Shay residents Spencer, Freddie, Sam, Gibby, a load of hired builders & The Carpenters (whooo! :P) prepare to start building Carly’s new room...

Note the fact that Sam is wearing blue & Freddie is wearing red <3 More Seddie purpleness (:

Also note the fact that throughout this entire episode Sam & Freddie do not argue once and actually act like proper friends, a complete and utter change from back in the first 2 seasons of iCarly. I feel that every character as matured and developed throughout the show, which makes it seem more realistic, well done Dan, he is obviously very good at character depth (:

And then Spencer gives a very emotional speech of encouragement before they all begin, after taking a register on an insanely huge PearPad XD

HUGE PearPad :P

“Now let’s build a teenage girls bedroom so fantastic! That it’ll make all the other teenage girls cry! Ready?!” - emotional speech :P

Back at the Groovy Smoothie T-Bo tells Carly to put Tacos on a stick she tries to explain that it is impossible, but she attempts it anyway...

“See, I told you, it’s impossible,”

Haha XD T-Bo does the impossible! My fav scene, besides the Seddie bed scene ;) LOL

Later that evening back at the Shay apartment Spencer in congratulating and thanking everybody for building the new bedroom

Oh no, text message from Carly, she’s on her way up!!

O_O what?!

O.o Impressive, that was quick!

Carly tells Spencer about her day at the Groovy Smoothie when he tells her that he has found some old belongings that survived the fire, but she could only see them if she went upstairs. She doesn’t want to go upstairs so Spencer has to drag her...

And now, for the moment we’ve all been waiting for...Carly’s NEW bedroom!!...

SURPRISE!!!

Don’t you just wish you had that room? It is SOO COOL!! (: what do you guys think? My favourite thing about it is the wardrobe (: i think it’s really cool (:

SEDDIE BED SCENE ALERT!! :O (((:

This was an extremely awesome seddie win (: dont they look cute...and in pain, on the bed xD awww. Also some of the room, bed pillows and the trampoline itself are purple - the SEDDIE color! And when Freddie is telling are not to do it cause he’s still on there he isn’t saying it in an angry way, like he probably would have in the past, he just says it in a terrified way (: also it seemed like Sam was so eager to jump on the bed because Carly looked like she was about to! Carly you can have the cool room and the awesome bed, but you can NOT and will NOT have Freddie ;)

Thanks Dan for putting that moment in for us ;) shall we discuss my friends?

And then Spencer shows Carly her very special gift...

A very cool, fire resistant, Gummy Bear light (: (: i LOVE it :D

Everyone’s all happy that Carly got a new room but, as Gibby says she’s got everything back...

“except for all your old photos and personal items that can never be replaced,”

GIBBY! XD

It is then revealed that Carly Shay is the girl with the best big brother ever :O

And then we got to closing credits (:

Man, i wish i could sing as well as those 3! (: <3

Anyway in conclusion i LOVED this episode and i think Dan as done really well, as always (: it had some great jokes, some meaningful moments & a kick-a*s seddie moment :P <3 it was AWESOME! :D

And so, my friends, i leave you with one question...

What DID the goat do?! O.o

RIP: Spencer Shay’s long hair :’(
